Reframing Precor as a wellness brand, this project explores a shift beyond fitness equipment to engage the growing markets of
recovery
, mindfulness, and long-term health.

THE PROBLEM

One in three working adults have occupations that are classified as “sedentary.”
(U.S BUREAU OF LABOR STATISTICS)

WHAT WE FOUND

Static positions often result in reduced mobility and persistent discomfort.

However, office workers don’t take the time to address their pain.

USER JOURNEY MAP

EXISTING WORKPLACE SOLUTIONS

Current solutions provide temporary relief, but don’t promote long-term recovery.

DESIGN GOALS

+ Accessible and integrates into the work day
+ Targeted muscle-relief solutions
+ Physical and mental recovery

SKETCH IDEATION

In-Office Stretching
We investigated ways to integrate convenient, targeted stretching and wellness activities into the office environment.

DOWNSELECTION

A PRIVATE STRETCHING POD
Moving forward, we focused on a low-barrier-to-entry stretching machine housed in a pod for privacy.

COGNITIVE RECOVERY
After work meetings, Kineo transitions into a restorative environment that reduces visual noise and provides guided meditation exercises, encouraging mental decompression before returning to the office.
